Founded in 1998 by Metter native Lucy Brown, Clean by Lucy was built on a foundation of family, service, and integrity. Inspired by her entrepreneurial spirit and her “Recipe for Living a Good Life,” Lucy transformed a passion for caring into a respected commercial janitorial business.

Upon her eternal transition, her sister Mattie and husband Mr. Curtis formally acquired the company and renamed it Clean by Lucy II, ensuring Lucy’s legacy continues. In 2026, they welcome Gloria Wesley as the Managing Partner. Today, Clean by Lucy is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise whose mission is to engineer hygiene standards that protect both your physical assets and the people who inhabit them.
